I am a persistent researcher who uses data strategically to lead initiatives, create synergy and build consensus amongst decision-makers in public education for systematic positive change.
My experience includes serving as a former high school mathematics teacher who has also been an instructor at the undergraduate and graduate level. I most recently completed my doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Research Evaluation & Methodology. My professional interest is in education policy research and I served as an Education Pioneers Graduate Fellow at the George W. Bush Institute.
I continue to pursue opportunities to utilize my research and evaluation skills to affect education policy that focuses on equity for all students. Currently, I serve as a Research and Evaluation Analyst with Region 10 Education Service Center.
